Marion Hischier is at foraus as a Policy Fellow specialising in the MENA region active. She works as a programme officer in the Mediation Support Team at the ETH Centre for Security Studies (CSS). She works on various projects within the Culture and Religion in Mediation (CARIM) programme – a joint initiative of the CSS and the Peace and Human Rights Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). Prior to this, she gained experience in the Middle East and North Africa Division of the State Secretariat within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland. Marion holds a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Anthropology of Transnationalism and the State of the University of Bern, Switzerland.
