Christoph is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St. Gallen in International Relations. He conducts research on the human rights complaints mechanisms of the United Nations and on voting behaviour in the UN Human Rights Council. Christoph holds a PhD in political imprisonment from the University of Mannheim and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford. In addition to his academic work, he has gained practical experience at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, the German Development Cooperation Evaluation Institute in Bonn and the German Institute for Global Area Studies in Hamburg. Christoph is fluent in Spanish and enjoys climbing, hiking and skiing in the Swiss Alps.
