Raphael completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Bern and his Master’s degree in Business Management at the University of St. Gallen. During his Master’s degree, he specialized in sustainability management and worked as an e-mobility consultant for the City of St.Gallen as part of his thesis. After completing his studies, he worked for companies in the MedTech and retail sectors. His last position was as Head of Finance & Central Services in an education and competence center for natural and biodynamic gardens.

Since March 2024, Raphael has been working part-time as Operations & Accounting Manager at foraus. He also works in the energy sector, where he builds and operates photovoltaic systems on suitable roofs together with his partners, aiming to drive forward the energy transition.
