Nadine-Isabelle Kas is a Political Scientist and Gender Expert with a background in International Law. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Law in Germany and Spain, she is currently deepening her expertise in a Master’s program in Political Science with a focus on anti-colonial feminist foreign, security, and Arctic policy at the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich.
Nadine has in-depth knowledge of human rights, nuclear arms control, gender-based violence, peace, and international security. Her international professional experience ranges from working as a UN Youth Delegate, project coordinator, and research assistant in the fields of policy analysis, sustainability, and arms control to working for the German Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Defense. Nadine is a strong advocate of inclusive diplomacy and innovative solutions in international politics and has been shaping foraus as co-head in Zurich since September 2024.
