Nadine-Isabelle Kas is a political scientist specialising in feminist foreign and security policy. After successfully completing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Law in Germany and Spain, she is currently deepening her knowledge in a Master’s programme in Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Zurich and the ETH Zurich. Her academic career has been characterised by international experience through studies abroad, research trips and work with the United Nations. Nadine has a strong background in human rights, nuclear arms control, peace and international security. She has worked as a UN Youth Delegate, an international Project Coordinator and as a Research Assistant on sustainability and arms control. From January 2025, she will be working in both the German Foreign and Defence Ministries to further develop her expertise in feminist foreign and security policy. Nadine is a strong advocate of inclusive diplomacy and innovative solutions in international politics and is looking forward to supporting foraus as Co-Regional Director in Zurich from September 2024.
