After completing his bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology at the University of Zurich, Jon is now completing an internship in the Engagement department at foraus. In his bachelor studies, he focused particularly on international politics, the UN Security Council and Switzerland’s role on the international stage. His bachelor’s thesis in the field of political communication examined the spread and effectiveness of combating offline misinformation. Alongside his studies, he volunteered at the Swiss Red Cross in weekly language meetings to support refugees in learning German, which showed him the importance of cultural sensitivity and voluntary work. These experiences, coupled with a keen interest in international politics, led him to foraus.
