Asthen graduated from the University of Fribourg with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Law, with a bilingual mention in French and German, including an exchange in the United Kingdom. Currently, Asthen is pursuing a Master’s degree in European Studies, an interdisciplinary program combining Political Science, Economics, European Law, History, Communication, and related fields. Particular interest lies in the diplomatic field, with plans to specialize in political economy and European law. Alongside these studies, Asthen works part-time as a library supervisor and serves as co-president of the university’s history student committee. In January 2026, volunteering with foraus provided an opportunity to deepen knowledge of foreign policy and develop skills valuable for a future career in diplomacy and international relations.
