Bettina Dürr graduated in 2017 with a Master of Science in Global Economy from the University of Glasgow. As a Swiss living abroad, she herself benefited from the free movement of persons in Europe for many years. In her professional and voluntary work, she focuses on the areas of  migration and mobility.
