After obtaining a degree in European law, Emma Mercier specialized in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the University of Geneva. Her academic background has been complemented by skills in information management and analysis, as well as several experiences abroad, including in Morocco. 

Emma is also interested in geopolitics, new technologies, armed conflicts, and developing countries. Since November 2023, Emma has been a co-coordinator of the foraus Lausanne regional group.
