After her bachelor’s degree in agronomy from HEPIA in Geneva, Ivanna Crmaric worked for several years as a scientific collaborator and as market gardener while still completing her Master’s degree in sustainable production systems at the Berner Fachhochschule (HAFL). Bio-intensive farming, agroecology and new governance systems in agriculture are subjects she is passionate about. Ivanna received the Hirschmann grant for master’s degree students attending Swiss universities of applied sciences and has been engaged in the Hirschmann Policy Kitchen on biodiversity in the 2022 spring semester.
