Juri is a Swiss-German dual citizen studying International Affairs at the University of St.Gallen, after completing a first bachelor’s degree in Psychology at LMU Munich. 

He currently works as a research assistant at HSG’s Institute for Economy and the Environment (IWÖ-HSG), building on previous research experience at LMU. 

Beyond academia, Juri volunteers with the award-winning social start-up Legmon, where he co-leads the Engagement Team. Legmon supports disadvantaged students and promotes educational equity, which is an area close to him as a first-generation university student. 

His interests span sustainability, international development, peace and security, as well as political strategy and negotiation. He is particularly motivated to enhance global intergenerational dialogue in order to foster intercultural understanding and promote equal opportunity for all. Juri has been co-regional manager in St. Gallen since January 2026.
