Innovation and Communication Intern

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva, Leila continued her studies with a Master’s in International Relations and Comparative Politics,from the same university. As part of her studies, she is now interning  at foraus, where she works as the Innovation and Communications intern. Her academic journey allowed Leila to explore various topics such as international cooperation, international humanitarian law, development policies in Africa, and the history of the Middle East. She has a particular interest in human rights and humanitarian issues, with a focus on the effectiveness of humanitarian action, which was the subject of her Bachelor’s thesis. Passionate about education, volunteering, and children’s well-being, she co-founded an educational project for children in Western Mongolia, which led to the creation of the NGO Altai Blue Horizon. The organization continues its work to strengthen the region through close collaboration with local stakeholders. Driven by a desire to contribute to meaningful initiatives, Leila aspires to apply her skills to projects that have a sustainable social impact.
