Lis Marti is a young pianist from Bern. Already at the beginning of her musical studies, she focused mainly on contemporary music. She has a particularly strong interest in electronic keyboard instruments, feminist art and cross-disciplinary projects. In her work, she strives to expand traditional performance and bring contemporary music to a mixed audience. An important part of her work therefore lies in collaborating with children and young people, be it in theatre projects or teaching piano and school music. Before her musical activities, Lis Marti completed an apprenticeship in an architectural office, which is why she has a strong connection to the visual arts in addition to music. Lis Marti is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Pedagogy at the Bern University of the Arts in the class of Antoine Françoise.
