Sabrina Nick has been Co-head of the Environment, Transport and Energy Programme since July 2019. She studied law at the Universities of Fribourg and Bern and completed an exchange semester at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. She is fascinated by the interaction between law, environment, politics and people. Her previous work experience in the International Affairs Division of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and in NGOs in these areas has deeply shaped her. Sabrina currently works as a Junior Professional Officer at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). She has in-depth knowledge of international biodiversity policy and environmental law. She sees a great opportunity to link international environmental obligations with the upcoming challenges of transport infrastructure in freight and passenger transport.
