Shari Goy completed her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics partly in Lucerne and partly in Rabat, Morocco, and subsequently earned a double degree in International Conflict Resolution and Multilateral Diplomacy. Between her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies, she worked for the Specialist Unit for Social Integration of the City of Zurich, where she conducted research on labour, social, educational and housing integration and acted as a bridge between social work and policymaking.
After completing her Master’s degree, she moved to Berlin, where she initially worked at GIZ in the Sustainable Development Finance team, before initiating a project on nuclear futures together with foraus as a Policy Fellow within the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners programme.
Today, she serves as Focal Point of the NGFP Peace and Security Hub at the School of International Futures. Her work focuses on strategic foresight, the analysis of complex future scenarios, and the development of strategies to help shape sustainable and just futures.
