Combatants for Peace (CfP) is a grassroots movement of Israelis and Palestinians, working together to end the occupation and bring peace, equality and freedom to their homeland. Launched in 2006, they are the only movement worldwide that was founded by former fighters on both sides of an active conflict. As a result, they were nominated for the
Nobel Peace Prize in 2017 and 2018. (https://cfpeace.org/). By seizing the opportunity of Rana Salman and Yair Bunzel’s stopping by in Zürich, foraus invites interested foraus-members to join this exclusive briefing and inside view of how actors of a peace-movement are operating within the current situation and war in Gazaand the situation in the Westbank. Furthermore, the event aims to allow the foraus community to ask questions to- and understand the current events from a binational group on the ground who experiences the war and its political implications first hand.
