During her experiences at the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs, as a programme associate for the NGO Women At The Table and as a Swiss Youth Delegate to the United Nations, Aijan has engaged with a diverse array of critical issues such as human rights, international security, energy and environmental policy, women’s rights, as well as youth participation and democracy. Passionate about social and environmental justice, her particular interests lie at the intersection of environmental law and human rights. 

Aijan holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Swiss law from the Universities of Geneva and Zurich and an LL.M. in International Law from Maastricht University.

Aijan est titulaire d’une licence et d’une maîtrise en droit suisse des universités de Genève et de Zurich, ainsi que d’un master en droit international de l’université de Maastricht.
