Francesco Bee obtained a Master of Arts in European Global Studies from the University of Basel. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics and a Bachelor of History, Business and Economics. In addition to his studies, he has long been active as a student representative at university, national and international level, and has a keen interest in Swiss science diplomacy. Francesco Bee was also a member of the Board and Co-President of the Swiss Student Union for many years. In this capacity, he was responsible for the representation of Swiss students in the European Students’ Union. After an internship in the International Relations Division of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), Francesco currently works as a scientific advisor in the staff of the Directorate of the Paul Scherrer Institute.
