Idris Abdelkhalek

Idris obtained his law degrees at the Universities of Fribourg (specializing in European law), Hanover, and Bern. He then completed a postgraduate master’s degree (LL.M.) in European law at the College of Europe in Bruges, followed by a PhD in European and Swiss competition law at the University of Fribourg. Idris is currently an attorney at law in a private practice in Lausanne in the areas of competition and corporate law. He previously completed internships within the federal administration in Bern and Brussels. For four years, he also served on the  executive board of an organization active worldwide in intercultural educational exchanges. Idris regularly teaches, publishes, and speaks at various conferences and in the media on European and competition law issues.
