Nicola Robinson is a horn player currently based in Bern, Switzerland where she is undertaking a Master of Music Performance with Professor Christian Lampert. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Nicola completed her Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in 2020 before joining the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in Melbourne. While at ANAM Nicola was the recipient of the ADFAS Yarra Prize for the Most Outstanding Program in a Recital, won the Directors’ Prize, and curated recitals at the National Gallery of Victoria and Melbourne Recital Centre. Throughout her career Nicola has been a guest musician with the Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland Symphony Orchestras, Auckland Philharmonic, and Orchestra Victoria. Nicola has a keen interest in curating diverse and accessible music programs to highlight the strength of diversity within classical music and for audiences of all backgrounds to engage in and enjoy.
