Youth actors are increasingly recognized as important constituencies in peacebuilding, diplomacy, and conflict transformation. However, recognition alone does not necessarily translate into meaningful participation. Young people are often invited into consultations or dialogue processes without being given a genuine opportunity to shape agendas, influence decisions, or participate directly in negotiations. Bridging this gap requires both greater access to negotiation spaces and the skills, confidence, and strategic tools to navigate them effectively.
Against this background, the Negotiation Council Geneva (NCG), together with foraus, proposes an intimate, practice-oriented workshop during the Geneva Peace Forum dedicated to the next generation of negotiators, diplomats, and decision-makers.
