Sonja Leyvraz is a master’s student in Environmental Management and Policy at Lund University, Sweden. After her BA in International Studies in The Hague, Netherlands, in which she specialised in the Middle East, her interest in the region brought her to Lebanon for an internship in the field of development cooperation. With her interdisciplinary background, she is interested in all kinds of environmental questions and solutions, be they of technical, political, or social nature—and particularly also in non-Western settings.
