Oliver Guggenbühl has been involved with foraus since 2023 as co-head of the Science & Tech programme. As a data scientist, he develops programmes with artificial intelligence, deals with the environmental impact of AI products and writes about the latest developments in the world of data.

Since studying data journalism and political science at the University of Zurich, he has been interested in the intersections between people, technology, the environment and political processes. He is particularly concerned with the fairness and accountability of AI, and thus with addressing how societies can – and cannot – benefit from new technologies.
