Oskar Jönsson works at gebana AG as Co-Project Manager for the construction of a new factory in Burkina Faso in the Strategic Projects department. Oskar studied Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Tsinghua University. In 2021/2022, he worked as a Mercator Fellow on sustainable supply chains of agricultural commodities, including at UNDP Ghana and Bio Suisse. Prior to this, Oskar worked as a research assistant in sustainable development in free trade agreements at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. He has been involved with foraus since 2017 and was Co-Leader of the Environment, Transportation & Energy program, among other positions. Until 2025, Oskar was a member of the foraus board.
