We’re celebrating 10 years of foraus!
The champagne and confetti are ready: We’re celebrating our birthday! Ten years ago, a group of students discovered that young people in Switzerland had too little to say in foreign policy – and founded foraus. foraus has since developed into the Swiss think tank on foreign policy and proved that think tanks à la grassroots work.
For our birthday, we gave ourselves new branding and a new website. But there is more: we were celebrating with various activities on the theme «Values in Foreign Policy». Plus, we got a new president: On 9 November, Nicola Forster, founder and former President of foraus, has resigned at an Extraordinary General Assembly and handed over to Anna Stünzi. The highlight of the activities was the event on 9 November 2019 on the topic «Values in Foreign Policy: a Generation Y Perspective on Today’s Global Challenges», at which Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis appeared as guest speaker and panellist.
