After a successful 1st edition in Davos in 2020 and a virtual series in 2021, the World Biodiversity Forum returned to Davos from 26 June to 1 July 2022. Under the theme ‘Inspiration for Action,’ the second World Biodiversity Forum brought together researchers across all disciplines of biodiversity science with practitioners and societal actors. The forum offered inspiration and examples for actions and solutions to conserve biodiversity, and set us on a path towards transformation for sustainability.
In this context foraus conducted a unique co-creation process drafting the Conference Resolution of the World Biodiversity Forum (WBF) 2022 based on inputs from more than 90 scientists and biodiversity experts from around the world. The resolution was then presented and approved by acclamation by the WBF participants at the Forum itself.
