Join us for a hike with the forever community, the alumni network of foraus.
We will meet at Biel/Bienne station and take the funicular up to Magglingen, where we can enjoy the stunning views. From there, we will hike over the Twannberg/Mont Douanne, stop for a picnic, and continue towards the Twannbachschlucht/Gorges de Douanne. We will follow the river through the beautiful gorge until we reach the shores of Lake Biel/Bienne. At the lake, we can either go for a swim or sample some local wines before heading back.
If the weather is bad, we will meet anyway and follow an alternative program.

What to bring: All you need for a small hike, picnic for lunch and your swimsuit
Costs: You pay for yourself. The fee for the funicular is around 8 CHF and can be bought via the SBB app (included in the GA). For the Twannbachschlucht/Gorges de Douanne, there is a visitor’s fee of 2 CHF (payable by cash or TWINT).
