With the world's biggest sporting event on the horizon, this edition of the #Think&Drink will explore the intersection of #sport and (geo)politics: the role of sports organisations like FIFA, sport as a political instrument, athlete expression, and sports’ potential to foster social cohesion.

We're delighted to welcome two speakers offering complementary perspectives:

• Guido Battaglia: Head of Partnerships and Institutional Affairs & Head of Geneva Office at the Centre for Sports & Human Rights (CSHR)
• Maureen Rosita Ojong Ebob-Besong: International Sport Diplomacy practitioner & Sports and International Development Expert (MSc candidate, Hungarian University of Sports Science)

Together, we'll discuss:

• How can sport be a genuine tool for social cohesion, dialogue, and peace?
• What does responsible governance in sport look like, which actors are and should be involved?
• How can we harness the unique power of sport as a social force, while addressing issues of power imbalances and lack of accountability?
