This public event brings together Sámi leader Ellinor Guttorm Utsi, Tabea Willi (Arctic Program Director, Voices NGO), and Nadine Kas (foraus Zürich) to discuss conflicts and consent around land use, resource extraction, and green energy development in Sápmi. We will dive into the challenges of safeguarding Sámi rights, the paradoxes of “green colonialism,” the importance of free, prior, and informed consent, and the broader geopolitical forces shaping the region.
