Asif Ali, is a researcher at the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs with a focus on climate and conflict-induced displacement, human rights, South Asian politics, and broader themes in international security and global governance. His work also explores great-power rivalry, particularly the US-China contestation, and its implications for the Global South. Asif contributes editorial support to Pakistan Horizon, Pakistan’s oldest international affairs journal, and publishes regularly in its volumes. He holds an M.A. in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies and is currently completing my M.Phil. in International Relations at the University of Karachi.
