Pro Jahr begleiten foraus und die Hochschule Luzern zwei Kohorten von Studierenden an Schweizer Fachhochschulen, die durch ein Stipendium der Hirschmann Stiftung in ihrer herausragenden Laufbahn unterstützt werden. foraus organisiert, durch seine Innovationskraft und seine Erfahrung mit partizipativen Formaten befähigt, interaktive Workshops für die Stipendiat:innen, wo diese sich gegenseitig kennenlernen und über ein von ihnen gesetztes, zukunftsgerichtetes Thema gemeinsam diskutieren können. Um konstruktive, neue Lösungen für die gewählten gesellschaftlichen Problemstellungen zu erarbeiten, wird ein reger Austausch auf der Plattform Policy Kitchen animiert. Die Stipendiat:innen werden nach dem Kick-Off Workshop im Outputprozess begleitet und erstellen Blogbeiträge und andere Produkte zur gewählten Fragestellung.

How does the young generation see themselves revolutionizing civic action? Where do they see priorities for us as individuals to contribute to society at large?
Bringing together 25 young thinkers from a variety of academic fields, we used Policy Kitchen to develop visions for how artificial intelligence is likely to affect their futures. The result is a four-part blog series on how novel tools will shape our lives and societies.
